Due diligence Project for Northern Rail.

Andrew Walker led a team of technical, commercial and project management experts made up from Northern Rail, NedRailways (Dutch Railways) and other external consultants, in the due diligence/evaluation of a potential new supplier from China of Diesel Multiple Units for Northern Rail.

This consisted of:

Identifying the key requirements for Northern -
both technically and commercially
Developing a matrix and questionnaire, which considered all the issues
and whether the supplier could meet these requirements
Determining the pass/fail criteria
Leading and managing the actual process at the suppliers premises
Production of a report, which identified strengths and weaknesses
of the supplier, with a clear recommendation of whether the supplier
should be taken forward to contract stage or not.
De-brief the supplier of the key findings of the report and next steps.
